The cost of flight training varies depending on the certificate or rating you are pursuing, how often you fly, the airplane you fly, and how quickly you progress. While the FAA establishes minimum experience requirements, most students require additional training to become proficient.

Our hourly rates vary by aircraft and type of instruction. We work hard to keep our pricing competitive while providing high-quality aircraft, experienced instructors, and a professional training environment.

Northwest Flight Service has been training pilots in Spokane since 2012, making us the area’s most established flight training provider. Our management team and instructors bring decades of aviation experience, and we place a strong emphasis on first-class quality instruction, safety, and helping each student become a confident, capable pilot.

We also believe the training environment matters. Our purpose-built facility includes private briefing rooms, a classroom, conference room, and flight simulators, while our fleet of Cessna 172s and Cirrus SR20s is maintained in-house by FAA-certified, factory-trained mechanics. We work hard to offer the nicest training aircraft in the area while keeping our rates competitive.
